The Tennessee Safari Park features a 7.5-mile drive-through safari and a 20-acre walk-through zoo for up-close animal encounters. Guests can feed exotic animals from their vehicles, visit a petting zoo, hand-feed giraffes and parakeets, and explore exhibits like the Sloth Barn and squirrel monkey tunnels. Seasonal attractions, a gem mining sluice, and a gift shop add to the fun for all ages.
The Tennessee Safari Park, located on Hillcrest Farm, a Conley family property since 1858, aims to promote conservation and sustainability for rare and endangered species. Starting with a passion for animals in the 1960s, the Conley family grew their collection, adding exotic species like bison and zebras. In 2007, the farm became a safari park, now home to one of the largest collections of zoo animals in the U.S., blending conservation, education, and tourism.
